The Læborg Stone
The Læborg stone is a rune stone found in Læborg in the 1600s. According to Ole Worm, the rune stone was located in a field north of Læborg church. Denmark's runic inscriptions mention that it was probably erected in this field close to the old army road. The rune stone has several rows of cleft holes and the runes at the top of the stone are damaged. A fragment was recovered in 1888 and inserted at the top of the B line. The stone is ornamented with two Thor's hammers; one ending the first line of runes and one ending the second line of runes.
